Instructions on how to replicate a penis in wax, for casting in silicone.

Some of the materials you will need:

• Casting Wax
• Alginate
• Penis Pump
• PVC Plumbing Cap
• Gloves
• RTV Silicone
• Household Silicone Adhesive
• Hacksaw
• Electrical Tape
• Mixing Cups

Step 1: Penis Pump

Start by prepping the penis pump. Remove the top with a hacksaw leaving as smooth a finish as possible. Retain the top with connector to vacuum bulb.

Step 2: Make a Cap

Drill a hole in the PVC Plumbing Cap to allow airflow. Use the household silicone adhesive to attach the top of the penis pump (with vacuum bulb connector) to the Plumbing Cap.

Step 3: Prep the tube

Using the electrical tape, seal any holes in the penis pump tube and create a smooth edge for the cap to seal against.

Step 4: Molding the penis

No pictures for this step, sorry. Mix alginate. Insert erect penis into the tube of the penis pump. Pour the alginate in over the penis. Place the cap on the top of the tube and start pumping. The vacuum created will ensure no bubbles rest against the surface of the penis, obscuring the mold, and that the penis maintains a good erection for the 5 minutes it takes for the alginate to set. After about 5 minutes, crack the vacuum seal at the cap, allow the penis to go flaccid and gently remove from the mold. You should end up with something like this:

Step 5: Casting in wax

We cast the alginate mold with wax quickly since it's a durable intermediate material that works and sets easily. Start by heating the wax on the stove until its melting point, at as low a heat as possible or you risk starting a fire (wax burns, that's why they make candles from the stuff). Use Vaseline as a mold release on any exposed plastic. The alginate doesn't need mold release. Slowly pour wax into the hollow mold, allowing it to find its own level to reduce risk of bubbles obscuring the finish.

Step 6: Cool the wax casting

I chilled my dong in a saltwater ice bath for about an hour before attempting to remove from the alginate and casting tube. The alginate peels away easily, but the wax tends to stick strongly to the exposed plastic of the tube.

Step 7: Dong.

Removed wax master from mold and cleaned up the base a little. Ready to be replicated in silicone at leisure.
